About Me
Dr. Cassandra Gergely (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in addressing anxiety disorders and emotional dysregulation in adolescents and adults.
I earned my PsyD at La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed my pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral training at Kaiser Permanente Napa Solano in Northern California. My training emphasized cognitive behavioral interventions with clients across the lifespan in various community health and private practice settings.
I utilize evidence-based techniques like DBT, ACT, and exposure protocols that are tailored to your needs, style, and background. My goal is to help clients cultivate self-awareness, change unhelpful internal stories, and develop new styles of coping. My therapeutic style is collaborative, direct, and often adds a touch of humor.
I work with adolescents (16+) and adults. Most frequently, my clients are emerging adults, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, or people of all ages who feel overwhelmed by their emotions. I am committed to cultural competent practice and anti-racism. I actively acknowledge the realities of systemic injustices and foster a space that is safe, inclusive, and grounded in respect for each person’s lived experience. Above all, I hope to join people in their world with curiosity and compassion.
